Department of Management studies is a jewel in the crown of the “A” Grade, Jai Narain Vyas University. The Department is known for its dynamic and versatile offering for Management studies and professional programmes. It has been a pioneer department and first University in INDIA which initiated management course in 1968 under the able leadership of Prof. D.N. Elhance who was an eminent educationist with a fore sight.

It conducts following major programmes  :-

1.Fellow Programme in Management ,Pd.D

2.Two – year Post Graduate Programme in Management ,MBA

3.Two – year Post Graduate Programme in Tourism ,MTA

4.One year Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management ,DTHM

5.Two – year Post Graduate Programme in Management Financial Services,MBA FS

These courses have gone a long way in enhancing the management capacities in all the functional areas of management education. The research and publication work done by the faculties and student of the department are the rare treasure for the future scholars. The contribution of DMS is well recognized for its professional participation of the country.

Innovative, result-oriented , mind-expanding, door-opening management curriculum equips the learners with cross disciplinary knowledge and skill sets. The MNS program is designed to give a leadership edge in any field of business, in any part of world. Great emphasis is laid on team work, which finds evidence in the multifarious activities of the corporate culture. It aims to create an environment, which is conductive for personal and professional development of the students, while also imbibing values of life that will stand them in good stead for years to come.

PERMANENT PILLARS

Prof. Kalpana Mathur is the pulse and passion for the Department of Management studies. Her knowledge and vision has developed the department in an abstract way. Her disciplined sense of intelligence has designed the destinies of the generations. She is an asset whose magnetic personality has attracted many souls to contribute to the excellence and growth of the Department.

Dr. Meeta Nihalani is teaching tactics and strategy to the students. Her academic work and contribution is a source of inspiration for upcoming management students. Her dedication and affection for students has made her integral part of department.

Dr. Swapana Patawari has been a happening teacher for the Department of Management Studies. Her organizing abilities have given wings to the department. She dares to think and shape the things with her thoughts. Her skills of presentation have made seminar rooms lively.

RESOURCE PILLARS

Mr. M.C. Agarwal has been the soft support for the department. His humble presence and experience helps the department to smoothly conduct seminar and evaluation sessions. His in-depth financial knowledge and teaching is proving worth in providing industries with ready to use financial experts.

Prof. B.S. Rajpurohit is a pillar to impart accounting practices to the students. His leadership abilities are the source of inspiration for many to grow in budding way. He imparts love and affection to built affiliation for department

Dr. Tauseef Ahmed is spreading the quantitative techniques in the department. His soft appearances have attracted students to love statistical numbers. His numerical aptitude and teaching is reflected in our students and has become an integral part of their knowledge bank.

ALLIED PILLARS

Mr. Ashish Mathur the budding techno-savvy teacher whose IT skills have broken the boundaries to place the department on cyber space. The use of modern techniques and teaching technology in teaching by him is a feeling of fresh air for the students. His passions for marketing skills have helped the students to believe in beauty of their dreams.

Miss Divya Khatri charming abilities have inspired students to grow in an expressive way. She devotes herself to the ethical working which helps students in developing as better human being and responsible citizens.

Mr. Harish Verma has been dedicated to the research activities in the department. He is the pulse of the department coordinating various portfolios. His capacity of handling various tasks has added value in each department activity.
